'Vasilisa'

The dress that inspired this, the first of the Pale Lady collection, was created in the 1903/1904. I fell in love with it the  very first time I saw it. Worn by the first of my very elegant porcelain 'pale ladies' the dress is of blush pink silk overlaid with fine black tulle and hand embroidered with green foliage and tiny pink roses. A ruffle of embroidered cream lace falls from the scooped neckline and the tiny puffs sleeves are tulle over silk, trimmed with palest pink lace. The sweeping skirt has a small train which puddles at the foot of the mannequin.

'Fayina'

The second of my 'Pale Lady' mannequins wearing a gown of black silk with an inset of tulle at the bodice and a high lace collar. A row of tiny jet buttons run down the back. The front part of the bodice is black velvet inset with tiny bows of cinnamon and amber silk.  Tiny amber jewels adorn the shapely belt. The skirt sweeps into a pool with layers of fiery silks overlaid with black lace.

The outfit is made complete by a majestic riding hat of black silk velvet with an amber and black ribbon and amber feathers tipped with black. The heavy veil falls to below waist length.

This unique 12th scale miniature is OOAK
