'Temperance'...A wonderful reproduction of a Victorian bonnet created in 1888 from black silk, this could have been part of your great-grandmother's wardrobe. This bonnet was designed to be ornamental rather than practical and would have been worn perched on top of an elaborate hair style. Lined with pale gold silk I have deliberately left some of the edges slightly roughened to add to the authenticity. The back of the crown is padded and the front is adorned with silk, velvet and tulle. Three tiny silk roses of deep red are set into the top. The ribbons can be tied under your doll's chin.

'Grace' Victorian Silk Garden Hat & Fingerless Gloves
'Grace'...This unusual style is typical of the charming garden hats worn by Victorian ladies in the late 19th century. Made from a pale sage silk, the crown is gathered into a ruffled toque effect and the narrow brim is trimmed with cream lace. A veil of cream lace falls to the back of the neck. The fingerless gloves are equally exquisite when displayed with the hat.
