Although I love making decorative beds with neatly placed counterpanes and pillows every so often I get the urge to make a bed that I can imagine cuddling up into...a cosy, snuggly bed. This bed is one of those...a dreamy jumble of soft white sheets, the kind your legs get tangled in, and large, plump white pillows that your head would just sink into. A little luxury in the form of a silk comforter, quilted and bordered, and a heavy white embroidered throw. The sheets are trimmed with broderie anglais and the pillows with embroidered bands. The rose pillows add little accents of colour and give a country feel to the design.
I couldn't resist adding a small chest with an embroidered runner. Only the top drawer has been 'filled' allowing you to add your own special bits and pieces. Although the top has been left for you to add your own accessories I will be happy to dress it upon request.

The dressings are soft aqua tones of silk with a hint of bronze stripe and accents of organza and bronze beaded trim . 'Printemps'........A charming 12th scale miniature bed dressed in 'shabby chic' style in a blend of soft and delicate cotton prints. The fabrics are from the Mary Rose Collection and are a stunning mixture of large and small foral designs in dusky peaches and tans on a cream background. Cream textures and prints make up a small selection of decorative pillows that can be arranged to your taste. Cotton laces trim the pillows and counterpane and a delicate ruffle falls to the floor. A heavy textured cream quilt is draped across the end of the carved bedstead.

'Valentine'....A bed of fantasies, this magnificent canopy bed has been dress in folds of jet black taffeta trimmed in ruby and black lace. The inside of the canopy is lined with ruby silk and a panel of jet lace peeps through the full length taffeta drapes. A selection of pillows in velvet and silk with jewelled and lace trimmings can be arranged to your taste and a gorgeous heart shaped pillow adds that 'Valentine' touch. A lace trimmed vermilion velvet throw is draped across the foot of the bed and fixed into place.
