'Faye'......the subtle tones of vintage moiré silk in a rich chocolate shade make a stunning base for this early 20th century design. Adeleine.....Inspired by a design from late Spring 1902 this dreamy silk hat has been wired and swathed in blush chiffon covered in tiny polka dots with the faintest of sparkles. The shapely brim has been faced in apricot organza which is gathered into ruffles on the flare and sits beautifully on the hair of a 12th scale doll. I don't often use artificial flowers but these lovely azaleas seemed to give just the right effect.
