The upper billament jewels are gold and ruby beads and the hood is piped in deep red with a slip of gold silk peeping through at the front edge. The veil is of heavy deep ruby velvet adorned with a gold leaf design and lined with gold silk. This lovely piece of millinery can be worn by a 12th scale doll.

'Rosamund'...a stately french hood to be worn by a 12th scale lady. Based on a design from the early 16th century the stiffened hood is of black and gold with a tiny slip of deep green velvet showing at the front. A billament of ornate amber seed beads is interspersed with green red and blue alomg the upper side of the hood. The veil is of the loose snood style created from the softest wine claret silk velvet lined with gold and black

This exquisite French Hood is typical of the headwear from the Tudor period. The head piece has been created from a burgundy velvet and wired to enable it to be fitted to a 12th scale dolls head or used for display purposes.A fine gold picot braid trims the base and crescent of the headpiece and the crescent has also been adorned with an ornate jewelled wire. There is a tiny pearl detail on each side of the cap. A veil of rich jet black velvet falls to the back and is also trimmed in gold picot braid.
